New Employees Training Requirements

It is mandatory to get an approval of their employment contract by MoHRE.
A lot of Tawjeeh centers have been introduced to meet this new requirement as designated by MoHRE to provide proper guidance on the responsibilities and rights of employees and employers before any engagement under contract. However, the process is not applicable for workers who are sponsored in free zones by their employers.
What are the Documents Required?
The employees who are nominated for training should visit any Tawjeeh center with original work permit and passport contract with signed and printed copy.
Duration – The awareness training consists of classroom sessions for around 1 hour and 45 minutes followed by an informative video about employment regulations in the UAE and they are displayed in 16 languages.
Once training is completed, attendees will get their mobile SIM cards and a labor contract. The SIM card is issued to promote communication between MoHRE and workers. You need to attend the training in person at one of the 37 authorized Tawjeeh centers in the UAE for AED 203. No advance booking is needed.
Training fee – Each employee needs to pay AED 206 in cash when visiting the training center. Workers need to submit their labor contracts after seeking training at Tawjeeh center. The PRO or employer needs to ensure that contracts are submitted in 24 hours.
Note
- Training fee is payable in cash
- Send all employees to the same Tawjeeh center
- Be sure the employees don’t change their employer on the invoice when seeking PRO’s services. It is because your workers will need to pay the training fee in cash when visiting.
